Having received its first students in the 2014-2015 Academic Year with 48 years of knowledge, MEF University is on its way to becoming a university that prioritizes entrepreneurship, innovative thinking, and creativity, and creates added value on a global and local scale with its different education model.  

With its international academic and administrative structure, dynamic and accessible management approach and innovative and environmentalist stance in creating its physical infrastructure, MEF University has completed all its preparations to become a university that responds to the requirements of our age, and whose diploma is valid and respected all over the world.

MEF University strives to raise students as individuals who can discuss, think, and question about every subject, and who have developed not only professional expertise but also a vision and stance towards life. Instead of the 900-year-old traditional university education system in the world, MEF University aims at the education of today’s “Y” generation and the “Z” generation, who will be the university students of the 2020s, in a world where digital technology dominates our lives. Using the newly developing “Flipped Classroom”, MEF University is an education and research institution established to bring innovations and lead the world higher education with the application of education system and undergraduate programs in different options, aiming to raise professionals, leaders, and entrepreneurs.     

MEF University, where all its programs are taught in English, offers 15 undergraduate programs in 5 faculties and 27 graduate programs in 2 institutes.

Located in Maslak, the financial and commercial center of Istanbul, the campus offers a living space full of opportunities to enrich student life with its privileged location within walking distance of the metro station. At MEF University, it is possible to complete the 240 credits in undergraduate education in 3 years, which is normally 4 years, and to do a master’s degree without a thesis in the 4th year, thanks to the flexible course load each semester and the rich course options in the summer school.  

At MEF University, academicians who are experts in their fields are always open to communication with a friendly management approach. Students can plan their careers during their higher education. The founder of the university, the holding, operates in the sectors of education, transportation, media and publishing, industry and construction, and with its strength and support, the university continues its rapid development.

MEF University has 57 student clubs and 14 sports teams. The Sports and Club Activities Coordinatorship, which was established for students to realize their potential not only academically, but also with sports and cultural activities, throughout their university life, works with the awareness of providing opportunities for students to gain awareness and take responsibility, and to offer opportunities to show their creativity and be inspired while doing these.

MEF University library has 89 databases, 14,000 printed books, 420,000 e-books, more than 50,000 electronic magazines, an area of ​​1500 square meters, a seating capacity of 350 people, 3 group study rooms, and a super quiet hall.
