English Language Preparatory Program uses a modular system. Our system consists of four 7 weeks modules and one summer module (please see further information about the summer module below) in Each week includes 20 hours of lessons based on English skills. After each 7 week instruction, students take an end of module exam.
There are four levels: Level 1 – Level 4. If a student starts from Level 1, for example, that student has the opportunity to finish all four levels by the end of module four.
The program is designed to equip students with the language skills they need to achieve a B1 and B2 level of proficiency in English.
Students are placed in one of three levels (A1 – A2 – B1) based on their results from the Placement Test.
Uses American English books (which are going to be announced by the lecturer in the first week). Its main objective is to provide students with the proficiency and language skills required for their undergraduate studies. To achieve this aim, the department runs intensive English program with emphasis on reading, writing, listening and speaking as well as grammar and vocabulary.
In order for all students to achieve B1 level proficiency, A1 level students will have to take an additional seven-week summer school module to be able to start their faculty program.
