Logistics is a complementary subject of production and trade, especially when the point of production and point of consumption are not at the same place.

The Logistics Programme is designed to create a manpower that can take responsibility in all areas of logistics. The students who prefer the programme take several logistics courses including logistics management, inventory management, purchasing and supply, warehousing, besides other management courses which help them to improve their knowledge and qualifications. Thereby, the graduates of the programme have the opportunity of either finding jobs in the sector or becoming entrepreneurs.

The aim of the programme is to educate future logistics specialists, logistics managers and logistics entrepreneurs in order to meet the needs of logistics service providers, logistics service receivers and organizers in the globalized business environment.

The Logistics Management Degree Programme Graduates; will know the fundamental concepts and theories of logistics management. They will have knowledge in business administration (accounting, finance, management, economy, marketing, product design, production planning) that form the basis of logistics management as well as knowledge of logistics and supply chain management (transport, warehouse management, material management, inventory management, procurement and procurement, network design, etc.).

The graduates will be able to develop effective management strategies using suitable theories and methods, plan management procedures, coordinate, manage and control the procedures and able to manage logistics applications using information and communication technologies effectively.
