Developments in the civil aviation sector in the world and in our country encourage many new enterprises to enter the civil aviation sector.
Airport operations, ground handling organizations, airline food enterprises, tourism enterprises, passenger transportation as well as air cargo transportation are rapidly expanding. Integrated planning in the logistics sector and the impact of time on cost, in practice, has made civil air transportation operations an integral and indispensable part of the sector.
The increase in private enterprises in the civil aviation sector also increases the need for qualified labour. Graduates of the Civil Aviation Management Programme at Beykoz University can be employed in Turkish and foreign airline companies, airports, airport location service organizations, tourism and travel agencies and the logistics sector.
The programme aims to train civil aviation and airline specialists who will be able to use current information and communication technologies efficiently and effectively and add value to the field of Civil Aviation.
The Civil Aviation Management Associate Degree Programme Graduates; will be equipped and competent in the field of civil aviation services and have competencies in line with the expectations of civil aviation institutions and organizations.
The graduates will have basic, institutional and practical information about national and international civil aviation services. They will know passenger and ground services in airport terminal buildings, the vehicles, equipment and related services used in ground operations of airports, ticket sale operations and calculations used in airlines.
The graduates will have knowledge about national and international civil aviation law and national and international security management as well as economy, business management, basic and airline marketing, basic and civil aviation mathematical operations, and basic accounting information.
The graduates will be equipped with the competencies at the basic level in line with the expectations of the business world and society.
