Graphic Design graduate program is built on the basics of being highly knowledgeable and competent in graphic design. In order to obtain a master’s degree without thesis, it is compulsory to submit a studio project and report that covers certain concepts and subjects, with readings to raise the cognitive level of the student in order to create theoretical and academic knowledge. The project in question must be ready for jury defence at the end of the program.

In order to be at the level of expertise, works are carried out on projects such as book design and illustration, print image, advanced typography and text design, communication design, media-television graphics. Courses such as contemporary art theories, art sociology, art / design criticism, design history, brand management, visual language and culture, gallery design and curatorial are given to develop theoretical knowledge about the field. Non-thesis studies are carried out in these areas counted in the Graphic Design master’s program.

Our faculty members are renowned for their art, design and theory studies at the national / international level, and our faculty members direct their students to contemporary design and artistic activities. In this way, students of the program graduate as creative individuals who are specialized in their field by having perceptual selectivity in the fields of art and design.

Our program graduates can continue their careers as advertising agencies, print media, animation studios, computer game companies, television and cinema graphics, digital publishing, digital agencies, packaging industry, original print painting artist, freelance illustrator, academic area or freelance.
