Graphic design is the process of visual communication and problem-solving through the use of typography, photography and illustration, and graphic designers are visual problem solvers who manage messages visually to a target audience.
The Graphic Design Programme of Beykoz University will equip the students with the ability to produce products within the framework of an artistic perspective in line with the design principles and aesthetics.
The programme aims to train professionals who are productive, imaginative and can produce original products by combining art with the developments in technology.
The students will be equipped with knowledge and skills in computer-aided design, photography, illustration, typography and portfolio.
Some of the areas where graduates can be employed are the packaging industry, magazines, photography, newspapers, and corporate companies advertising departments, organization companies, advertising agencies, the cinema sector or television channels.
The Graphic Design Associate Degree Programme Graduates; will have theoretical and application infrastructure in line with the needs of the sector. They will have mastered the concepts of art and design and gained proficiency in using computer aided design programmes.
The graduates will have the competencies to produce solutions to sectoral needs with design theories, and they will have gained the ability to take responsibility in teams or as individuals.
The graduates will be able to evaluate artistic, cultural, aesthetic developments and influences over historical and contemporary art and design products.
The graduates will be able to recognize design, application and printing stages. They will be able to follow technological developments in the national and international frameworks related to graphic design.
