Rail Systems Management Programme at Beykoz University is designed to educate the manpower that can take low to mid-level responsibilities in all kinds of railway transportation and logistics companies.

The students who enrol in the programme take basic management courses alongside specialist courses that provide them with the skills necessary in the railway transportation sector including knowledge of; the safety measures applied in railways, railway logistics, train and wagon design, warehousing in railway systems.

Therefore, the graduates of the programme have the opportunity either to seek employment in the sector of becoming entrepreneurs themselves.

The aim of the programme is to educate future entrepreneurs, mid-level managers and specialist in order to meet the human resources needs of the railway transportation sector.

The graduates of the programme will have the necessary technical and managerial skills to single-handedly manage a small or middle-size firm in the sector, or they can use these skills efficiently as a mid-level employee of a larger organization.

The Rail Systems Management Associate Degree Programme Graduates; will have basic technical and advanced managerial knowledge on railway systems.

The graduates will be equipped with media literacy, economics, law, and communication technologies. They will be able to evaluate the components of the internal and external environment of the railway systems field.

The graduates will have basic, theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of Rail Systems Management. They will know the basic numerical methods used in rail systems management and have technical knowledge of railway systems.

They will be able to prepare train line-ups and make load and passenger carrying plans and undertake the applications particular to the carrying of special and hazardous materials.

The graduates will have basic knowledge and skills in business administration, and the basic and theoretical knowledge required by national and international business and trade.
