• Dicle University is a long-established university founded in 1973. Dicle University, which has the task of producing, using information, and offering it to the service of humanity in a local-regional and universal context, has not only been a university serving the region over the past years but has also gained strength with its international success.

• Within its body today, there are 15 Faculties with modern structures and all the facilities from A to Z that fulfill the needs of students and academicians, 12 Vocational Schools with technical equipment, 4 Schools, 1 Conservatory, 4 Institutes, 30 Practice and Research Centres, Training and Research Hospital, Oncology Hospital, Children’s Hospital Burn Center, and the Middle East’s largest Heart Hospital. Also, the university has the Traumatology Emergency Hospital which is the first example in Turkey as the first independent one from the hospital building. All these make the university a university with international competence in scientific and academic terms.

• Dicle University offers 66 associate, 154 undergraduate, 100 graduate, and 44 doctoral programs.

• There are many laboratories at the university. Also, Dicle TECHNOCITY, which has an area of 6500 square meters within the University, attracts attention with its service with R&D innovation, software, and academician companies.
• Dicle University has all kinds of opportunities for social and scientific activities with its conference halls, student dining halls, student canteens, indoor and outdoor living areas, and sports areas where students can relieve stress.

• Dicle University Central Library has a closed area of 5000 square meters and provides access to visual, audio, printed, and electronic resources that students, researchers, and academicians need.

• Dicle University has approximately 30 thousand students, 450 of whom are international students, and 3600 academic and administrative staff. It is one of the most important institutions of Turkey in the region, which trains professionals in almost every field needed in the region, conducts research at the national and international level, and produces projects for the region and the country’s economy.
