Istanbul Commerce University

Istanbul Commerce University was founded by the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Education and Social Services Foundation in 2001. The university has 6 faculties (Human and Social Sciences, Business, Law, Communication, Engineering, Architecture and Design), English Preparatory Department and 4 institutes (Foreign Trade, Social Science, Science and Finance Institute) and research and application centres. The university continues its education life with 9 thousand students and nearly 300 academicians.

In our campuses located in Sütlüce and Küçükyalı, one of the leading districts of Istanbul, one of the cultural capitals of the world. Education parallel to scientific and technological developments, cultural and artistic activities and opportunities to conduct research on a global scale are combined. The presence of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, which is one of the leading chambers of the world, with its 138 years of history, plays a major role in the fact that each student who chooses our university receives a professional education that integrates theory and practice without breaking the realities of life.

In the university, where the number of departments in English is constantly increasing, 30 percent English education has been started in 17 departments in 2014-2015 Academic Year as well as five departments, all of which are in English. Thus, an education model has been put into practice where our students will gain global experience. Erasmus, which has come to life as part of the cooperation agreements signed on the way to become an international university, offers our students and academicians the opportunity to gain international experience. As a student-oriented city university where success is rewarded, it is one of our main wealth that our students learn without leaving social life and sign social responsibility projects that will be proud of the power they receive from the university.

The university, which has grown with the institutional support of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce as well as academic knowledge, knowledge and experience, is not only a diploma with international validity, but also a high standard in educational environments where the campus life in the city meets the networking opportunities of the business life and academic experience promising future.
