Medipol University

• The university started its activities in 2010 in the historical peninsula of Istanbul, which is the oldest region of the city, at the edge of the Golden Horn and the point where Unkapanı Bridge meets the land and has turned into an education complex in the center of Istanbul in a short time with its modern classrooms, laboratories, library, and facilities. Istanbul Medipol University has shown rapid development and implemented Kavacık North and Kavacık South Campuses, which include student dormitories, sports fields, and research laboratories as well as educational opportunities. A cooperation agreement has been made with one of Turkey’s largest private healthcare investments Medipol Mega Hospital Complex and the hospital has begun to serve as the University Hospital.

There are more than 700,000 digital publications and 40 database memberships in the library of the university.

• 115 student clubs, which carry out their activities within the university and under the consultancy of academicians, actively work and colour university life. Health services are provided by infirmaries on all campuses of the university, where emergency intervention, medication, and primary health care services are provided. The Psychological Counselling and Guidance Unit helps students through one-to-one interviews within the framework of getting to know themselves, building their awareness, and overcoming academic, personal, and social difficulties.
