About the University
The Sakarya University of Engineering and Architecture, which was opened in 1970, was the core of Sakarya University, which aims to raise individuals with all kinds of equipment required by modern civilization. This school was transformed into Sakarya State Architecture and Engineering Academy in 1971 and taught as a Faculty attached to Istanbul Technical University between 1982-1992.
Sakarya University was established with the law numbered 3837 on July 3, 1992.
Completing its academic and technical infrastructure among the universities established after 90, our university is the first and only state university with its administrative units and ISO-2002 Quality Certificate and EFQM Excellence Competency Level Quality Certificate. It sets an example for the university.
