About the University
Uşak University, established in 2006, is a reputable state university in the light of reason and science with its young and dynamic academic staff. With its academic units, academic staff, number of students, physical capacity, and scientific researches, it is a university that stands out among the higher education institutions of Turkey with its social, cultural, and sports activities.
The university has 12 faculties providing bachelor education, 3 colleges, 11 vocational schools providing associate degree education, 3 graduate schools, and 27 research and application centers.
Uşak University, which is the shining star of the region with its young and dynamic national and international academic staff of 11 years and a student-centred management approach, has become a pilot university in the fields of leather, textile, and ceramics.
Within the University’s Health, Culture and Sports Department, there are a total of 84 clubs, including 72 culture and 12 sports clubs.

The university library serves in its new 4-story building of 10,819 m2 with a capacity of 700 people. The library’s book collection is 60,000. There are 39 electronic databases in the library. There are 3 million electronic books, 3.5 million e-theses, and 46,000 electronic journals within the database.
The Sports Complex is the best sports center in the region with a gymnasium of 2000 people, a semi-Olympic swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam rooms, fitness center.
The Congress and Cultural Center hosts cultural events of the University and Uşak. The center hosts a 1000-person congress center that allows events such as opera, ballet, concerts, theatre, and congresses.
