About the University
Yozgat Bozok University is a new and dynamic state university located in Yozgat. The mission of the university is to educate individuals that have high sense of responsibility, the capacity to compete with their peers in every aspect and have internalized moral values; to conduct studies so as to contribute to health, education, social, cultural and economic fields by considering the city’s geographical and strategic location, and to maintain educational and research activities that will benefit to the future of the country and humanity.

Quick Facts
Yozgat Bozok University was established as a state university on March 1, 2006. With the law of establishment, Faculty of Science and Literature, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Faculty of Agriculture, School of Health and Vocational School within Erciyes University and Akdağmadeni Vocational School within Cumhuriyet University were affiliated to Yozgat Bozok University. In addition, Graduate School of Science and Graduate School of Social Sciences were established.
