International trade is the centre of globalization.
It can easily be seen that in the last two hundred years of the world economy, the periods of high economic growth coincide with the volume of high international trade.
The Department of International Trade develops knowledge and practices to create added value to the development of society by creating rational, contemporary approaches, policies and strategies with research and development activities it carries out.
The department aims to raise individuals who have a full knowledge on the concepts and practices of international trade, have an enhanced vision and innovative knowledge on economics, business, law and management and they can effectively utilize contemporary tools and equipment for their purposes.
The International Trade Degree Programme Graduates; will have acquired basic knowledge, concepts and theories required in the field of international trade.
The graduates will have knowledge on subjects such as foreign trade, logistics, economics, finance, business, marketing, sales management, purchasing and quantitative methods and will also have the skills to think analytically, solve organizational issues, as well as time management, self-discipline and communication skills
The graduates will use business and international trade practices effectively and have the necessary theoretical knowledge and methods to develop effective management strategies, plan, coordinate, execute, and perform the necessary controls.
