Beykoz University, Faculty of Social Sciences, Political Science and International Relations Department was established with the sensitivity and determination to build a new tradition on the basis of a unique social science of understanding and professional ethics.
Political Science and International Relations programme aims to provide the students with theoretical and professional competence.
The students will learn the various political theories in their historical process and socio-political context and they will reach a comparative level of understanding about the political systems and the various levels on which the political systems are built and be able to analyse the main debates in the field of international relations.
The Political Science and International Relations Degree Programme Graduates; will be able to recognizes different paradigms, fundamental theoretical approaches and methodologies in social sciences as well as individual, social and academic ethic norms and the will know how to use their expertise for the public good.
They will have the knowledge and skills to evaluate the issues in the academia and work life with a reflexive viewpoint and interpret in a sociological way while relating biographical with the historical.
Graduates will be equipped with the competencies to meet the expectations of today’s business world related to their field on a national and global level.
